La Tour Eiffel

The first in a series of paintings of the Eiffel Tower. This first one takes in the rooftops of Paris. I spent an immense amount of time working on the fine detail of both the tower and surrounding townscape, trying to get the symmetry of the tower as close as possible to reality, and also attempting to get the aerial perspective right. Not easy at all, as I quickly discovered.
